Transformation
Transformation represents a complete change in the appearance or form of something or someone. It is about transmuting with the intention to improve. With this collection I wanted to demonstrate that the transformation of an existing garment, pre-loved or that for some is unusable, can give birth to a garment of high artistic value, new and different. Lalo's philosophy seeks to use the existing to create something new. Everything works, the magic begins when through creativity and a lot of love you can create unique clothes, just as we all are!
To present our clothes, we select models for our catwalk thinking of real women, mature and young, of different sizes and ethnicities. The Lalo Universe is inclusive, fun and real. Many hours of love and commitment to make it known that fashion does not have to harm any human being or the planet. Our inspirational themes are always timeless. I get inspired every time I see a piece of clothing that catches my attention because of some potential point (material, line, color) and I start from there, what can I do to help it to be better... And the magic starts there!
However, this collection has eighties airs, “punk” airs with Scottish and Flamenco influences. Attitude. Luxury in textures, femininity and happiness.
